Your Favorite Radio:
A contributor asks, “What one transceiver did you have, now no longer in production, would you purchase again if it were back on the market? It would be exactly as originally manufactured. No extra bells and whistles added though improved components would be allowed.”

With the ecxeption of 220 mHz, the station is multimode capable on 160 meters through 440 mhz with the Icom 7800, Ten Tec Omni VI, and the Kenwood TS2000. I use the TenTec Argonaut V and the Elecraft K-1 for portable and QRP work. The antenna farm includes a 5 Band Hex Beam, Gap Voyager, 5 element MSquared yagi for 6 meters, 15 element Cushcraft yagi for 2 meters, a center fed doublet, and a 160 meter dipole. I prefer CW, but also enjoy SSB and PSK31. 73, Brad AA5CH
