Spotlight	My vintage 1969-1971 Ten-Tec Shack

This is my shack. The rig on the left is a Ten-Tec Powermite 1...vintage 1969. It was hammered on badly when I got it (not the PM-1 featured in my April 2000 QRP Quarterly article)...but NOW operates very well, even if it's not 100% original anymore. The rig on the right is a Ten-Tec Argonaut 505 from 1971. I bought my "dream radio" from a gentleman in Washington this year. I say it's my dream radio, because it was this rig that caught my eye as a Novice "way-back-when". When conditions are good, its 5 watts are more than ample once connected to my new loop. Also seen are my grandfather's Vibroplex and my Nye-Viking keys...as well as my HTX-10. Finally, rounding out the shack are my Irish books and CDs. (Yes, it has nothing to do with radio, but there ARE those days when HF just won't cooperate). 73 (Slan, agus beannachti leat) John HSH
