Active on SSB, especially on 18 and 24 MHz as propagation permits. Antenna is a 10 element log periodic at 50'. Also active from time to time on FO-29 and other satellites.

Is there a modern solid-state equivalent, either kit, homebrew, or wired, for the traditional 6L6 xtal rig?

K9AQMP - My humble shack
After over 30 years and a down sized move, this is my shack now. I'm using an Icom IC-746 with a Heil ICM mic. Among many keys, mostly use a Vibroplex Vibrokeyer or Nye Vikng Master. The antenna, due to restrictions, is a SLINKY inverted V mounted in the attic. For help with digital communications is a Rigblaster Plus.
